Oakbrook in Niger, West Africa
On December 28, 2006, 11 members of Oakbrook Community Church traveled to Niger, West Africa, to work among the Songhai people.

Working alongside missionaries Brad and Sally Womble, this team took the gospel into the Muslim schools of Gotheye and Dargol.

Using the flip books they had constructed they taught the children about the love of Jesus each day.

Many friendships were formed with the children of the villages and the church planters and interpreters.

Today Oakbrook supports the work among the Songhai in the villages, as well as in the orphanage in Niamey AND a team is now forming for the 2008 trip.

Oakbrook supports the ministry of Mark and Christa Crawford. Through their ministry "The Garden of Hope", and "Just Food Inc.", they are working to help the sexually exploited children and young women of Thailand. They are working to transform lives for the glory of God!

Please pray for Mark, Christa and Ahm as they proceed with the adoption process this year.
